By far, Santa Maria Golf and Country Club is the most convenient. This is one of the most renowned golf courses on the Costa del Sol, offering players a challenging game. The 18-hole golf course has a resident professional, practice driving ranges and many other facilities. The first 9-holes of this beautiful 18-hole course were designed by Anthony Garcia Garrido. Particular mention has to be given to the 7th and 11th holes which have breathtaking views including lakes and waterfalls.

Beaches

The beaches in the area are renowned for their beauty and cleanliness and stretch for miles in both direction.

Spend a day chilling out on the beach, enjoying a long leisurely lunch at one of the local beach restaurants. Plenty of beach activities are available if desired, or just take your latest book and find a parasol.

In the summer months there are Water Sports and a Dolphin Safari Boat operating out of a small harbour of about a hundred boats ranging from dinghies up to seventy-foot motor cruisers.
The marina has a wonderful friendly atmosphere. In the port itself there is a wide range of International Restaurants. English, Spanish, Italian and Chinese. Also close by is an Old Spanish Coaching Inn with a small par three golf course.
